Land Wanted
A group of volunteers with the Food & Agriculture sub-group of South Lakeland Action on Climate Change are looking for land to lease or use on a charitable basis.  The land will be used for an experimental community agriculture scheme primarily for growing vegetables, establishing an orchard, coppicing, possibly a small amount of livestock, and also aiming to increase the biodiversity of the site.  We are a group of committed individuals with a wide range of experience in organics and permaculture looking for around 2-5 acres, with the potential to expand in future.  Ideally the land would be within a 10 mile radius of Kendal, although we are willing to hear about further availability across South Lakes .  If you are interested please contact Sonny Khan on 07967313437 or email sonnykhan@hotmail.co.uk
